SF underground storage tank, full name Steel-Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic double-wall underground storage tank (S/F double-wall tank). S stands for Steel inner tank, F stands for FRP fiberglass outer shell. It is the mainstream underground anti-leakage oil storage equipment for gas stations and industrial oil depots.
1. Inner layer: Q235B carbon steel tank body, holds oil products and provides structural strength.
2. Outer layer: Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) impermeable outer jacket, resists electrochemical corrosion from soil and underground water.
3. Interlayer: A continuous interstitial space exists between the steel inner tank and FRP outer tank. It can be connected to a leak monitoring system for 24-hour online leak detection. If leakage occurs in either the inner or outer tank, the fluid will flow into the interlayer and trigger an immediate alarm from the leak detector, preventing oil contamination of soil and groundwater.
