Importation of LPG cylinders into Nigeria SONCAP Certification needed

The LPG Cylinder is regarded by the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) as a high risk item of import due to its use in gas storage for domestic cooking and several other purposes.
For this reason, SON has taken measures to ensure that the item passes through repeated scrutiny before being imported into Nigeria.
To import LPG Cylinders into the country, the Importer must contact SON directly, as the necessary Product Certificate and SONCAP Certificates cannot be issued by the IAFs.
In order to meet the requirement of importation of LPG cylinder products,we have invited two engineers of SONCAP to our company for inspection in April 2018.
Now we pass through the audit and inspection,obtain the SONCAP Certification of LPG cylinder.
